🏞️ Australian Naturist Trails Alliance (ANTA) / OZNTA
Paving the Way for Clothing-Optional Trails in Australia & Beyond
The Australian Naturist Trails Alliance (ANTA)—also known as OZNTA—is a pioneering initiative dedicated to opening up naturist-friendly trails in national parks and public lands. Our vision is simple yet revolutionary: to give naturists the legal and social freedom to reconnect with nature, unclothed and unburdened.
We believe that hiking, swimming, and relaxing in nature should be clothing-optional—free from judgment, stigma, or outdated laws. ANTA is working to make this vision a reality.
🌿 Why ANTA Exists
For decades, naturists in Australia have been restricted to beaches and private clubs. We say it’s time to move forward.
Naturism is not just about nudity—it's about wellness, freedom, and nature. ANTA promotes:
Body positivity
Mental health
Freedom of expression
Nature conservation
Sustainable tourism
By creating officially recognised clothing-optional trails, we empower naturists to experience the wild as it was meant to be: freely and naturally.
🧩 Legal Pathway: Section 633
There is a little-known clause in the NSW Local Government Act 1993—Section 633—that allows councils to designate public spaces as clothing-optional.
ANTA is leveraging this legislation to: ✅ Propose official clothing-optional hiking trails
✅ Work with councils and park authorities
✅ Establish national precedent for naturist access
✅ Protect naturist rights through legal clarity
Combined with the philosophical and religious recognition of NaturismR, this strategy offers an unprecedented opportunity for reform.
🗺️ Our Plan in Action
PHASE 1: New South Wales
Work with local councils to establish Australia’s first clothing-optional hiking trails in remote and low-traffic areas—starting with NSW parks and riversides.
PHASE 2: National Expansion
Replicate the model in other states—Victoria, QLD, WA—by proving naturist trails are safe, respectful, and widely supported.
PHASE 3: Global Inspiration
Share our framework with international naturist communities to inspire worldwide trail designations. ANTA will become a global blueprint.
