Introduction to the Global and Regional Councils

At NaturismRE and Naturis Sancta, we believe in fostering a movement that is inclusive, non-hierarchical, and respectful of personal autonomy. Our global philosophy is rooted in a shared responsibility towards nature, the environment, and our own well-being. To ensure efficient organisation, communication, and growth, we have established The Guardians of Nature Council and regional councils: the Naturist Resurgence Council (NRCR) and The Light Bearers Council (NSCR).

While we do not operate within rigid hierarchies, these councils exist to ensure coordination and unity across all regions where NaturismRE and Naturis Sancta are active. Each region operates autonomously under the guidance of its own council, but a single senior member from both the Naturist Resurgence Council (NRCR) and the Light Bearers Council (NSCR) from each region will join The Guardians of Nature Council to form a cohesive and collaborative global leadership.

What Are NRCR and NSCR?

  • NRCR (Naturist Resurgence Council Representatives): NRCR representatives focus on promoting the practical aspects of naturism, including body positivity, advocacy for naturist-friendly policies, and expanding naturism’s presence in public spaces. Their role is to connect with local communities, lead educational campaigns, organise naturist events such as clothing-optional hikes and gatherings, and liaise with local governments and organisations to advocate for naturist rights. They ensure that the values of NaturismRE are upheld while adapting them to local needs and contexts.

  • NSCR (The Light Bearers Council Representatives): The NSCR representatives focus on the spiritual dimension of the movement, as envisioned by Naturis Sancta. They are responsible for helping individuals connect more deeply with nature through spirituality, organising retreats and workshops that explore personal growth, meditation, and spiritual connections to the natural world. They work to integrate the philosophy of Naturis Sancta within their regions, ensuring it aligns with local cultures and spiritual traditions, all while promoting inclusivity and reverence for nature.

Together, these councils allow NaturismRE and Naturis Sancta to:

  • Respect the diverse cultural and social contexts of naturism across regions.

  • Provide guidance, resources, and support to local communities.

  • Ensure that all regions align with the shared global principles of NaturismRE and Naturis Sancta.

Each council plays a critical role in maintaining this balance of autonomy and unity, allowing our movement to thrive worldwide without imposing rigid top-down control.
